How it started
Miss Brandi A. Neal is a distinguished musician, actress, and award-winning music educator celebrated for her artistic excellence and unwavering commitment to student success. Her musical journey began at the age of nine, singing in church and taking piano lessons, which laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for the performing arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance with a minor in Theatre and began her teaching career in 2017 after serving as a College Admissions Counselor.
Currently, Brandi teaches piano and chorus to 9th–12th grade students and proudly serves as the 2024–2025 Henry County Schools District Teacher of the Year. She is also a top ten finalist for Georgia Teacher of the Year. Under her leadership, her ensembles have consistently earned Superior and Excellent Ratings at regional and state-level choral and vocal competitions. In addition to teaching, she serves as Department Chair, MTSS Co-Chair, and District Fine Arts Lead, playing a pivotal role in shaping instructional excellence across her district.
Brandi’s commitment to education extends beyond the arts. She is passionate about uplifting all educators and promoting teacher leadership at every level. Her mission is to empower teachers through meaningful professional learning, authentic collaboration, and the celebration of educator voices. Drawing from her own experiences, she creates impactful professional development that inspires, equips, and honors the educators who make a difference every day.
How It’s Going
As a Literary Coach, MTSS Co-Chair, and Curriculum Writer, Brandi Neal brings a wealth of experience in supporting educators and improving instructional outcomes. She coaches teachers across content areas, helping them implement data-driven strategies, differentiate instruction, and create engaging, student-centered learning environments. Her leadership in Multi-Tiered Support Systems ensures that all students receive the academic and behavioral support they need to thrive. Through her involvement in the District's Leadership Program and Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity, Brandi continuously seeks opportunities to grow professionally and share innovative practices with colleagues.
Brandi is passionate about building a culture of collaboration, offering meaningful professional learning and mentorship opportunities that empower teachers to grow in both instruction and leadership. She advocates for high-impact development tailored to the needs of all educators, particularly in the arts, and promotes strategic curriculum planning and technology integration. Above all, Brandi is committed to helping every teacher recognize their potential, step into leadership with confidence, and inspire lasting change within their schools and communities.
